Weekend Warmer is our way of helping homeowners across England, Scotland, and Wales settle into a greener way of heating. We’ve designed this to effectively cover your heating costs every single Saturday and Sunday for an entire year².
When you upgrade to an OVO air source heat pump, we take care of the heavy lifting. Once your installation is complete, we’ll send you an email to activate the offer. From there, the savings are applied directly to your energy account every month for a full 12 months.
To grab this offer, you’ll need to receive your heat pump quotation between 16 March and 30 June 2026. It’s available for new quotes only, so if you're ready to make the switch this spring, now is the time to get started.
Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) Grant
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) grant is available to homeowners in England and Wales to help cover the cost of switching to greener heating.
If you get your heat pump installed through OVO, your installer will handle the Boiler BUS application for you.
If you’re eligible, the grant voucher of up to £7,500, will be given to your installer when the heat pump’s up and running. The amount gets taken off your total installation costs.
Please note, the BUS grant isn’t guaranteed for every installation. To keep things clear and transparent, we provide quotes based on both scenarios, with and without the grant, so you know exactly what to expect.
Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan Scheme
If you’re a homeowner in Scotland, you may be eligible for financial support through the Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan Scheme, funded by the Scottish Government. This scheme helps cover the cost of installing low carbon, energy-efficient heating systems, including heat pumps.
The grant of up to £7,500 can reduce your upfront installation costs, while the loan option offers low-interest financing to spread payments over time.
