The promoter of this Offer is OVO Energy Limited, incorporated in England and Wales under company number 06890795 and whose registered office is at OVO Energy Ltd. Floor 5, Crescent, Temple Back, Redcliffe, BS1 6EZ (“OVO”, “we”)
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) apply to the Weekend Warmer offer (the “Offer”). These Terms are separate to OVO’s Core Terms which cover your supply of energy and the terms and conditions for your heat pump purchase.
1. The Offer
This Offer is a credit of £19.41 per month for 11 months, and £19.45 for the final month. This is equivalent to free heating every weekend for a year for the average home. See section 3 below for details of how this is calculated. You can redeem this Offer after your installation is complete (see section 1.6 below for details).
1.1 The Offer is valid on air source heat pump orders quoted between 16 March and 30 June 2026.
1.2 The Offer can only be redeemed on new quotes. If you have an existing quote for your address, you will not be eligible for the Offer.
1.3 This Offer may only be used once per household.
1.4 This Offer can only be redeemed if you are an OVO energy dual-fuel or electricity-only customer.
1.5 There is no monetary alternative to this Offer. If you cancel your heat pump purchase (including during your 14 day cooling off period) you will no longer be eligible to participate in the Offer and you will not receive any credits (including any pro-rata credits) under the Offer. You will also not be able to redeem this Offer against any future purchase.
1.6 You'll receive an email after your installation is complete with instructions on how to redeem this offer. Once redeemed, this may take up to 30 days to process and your credit will start the month after you sign up. You will be able to claim this offer after your installation is complete. You can claim this offer by signing up via the offer email that we send you. You will have 60 days to sign up from the date we send the email.
1.7 This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts on air source heat pumps, other than the Free Heat months banked via OVO Beyond. Visit ovoenergy.com/terms/beyond-terms-and-conditions for more information.
2. Eligibility
To be eligible for the Offer you must:
You have 60 days from the date of receiving your Offer redemption email to sign up to the Offer.
If you do not meet/continue to meet the eligibility criteria above, you will no longer be eligible for the Offer.
3. How do we calculate a weekend’s free heating?
3.1 A weekend of free heating is calculated at £4.48. With a month’s worth being calculated at £19.41 for the first 11 months and £19.45 for the final month for a maximum credit of £232.96 for the entire year.
This is based on a gas boiler running at 90% efficiency (as per the national average for A-rated boilers) with an annual gas consumption of 11,500 kWh. Assuming an air source heat pump with a Seasonal Coefficient of Performance (or efficiency rating) of 3.5 will use 2,957 kWh of electricity annually for heating (both space heating and hot water) at 27.69p/kWh (calculated based on Ofgem’s average unit rate for electricity for those in England, Scotland and Wales on a standard variable tariff paying by Direct Debit for 1st January to 31st March 2026 - Energy Price Cap).
3.2 Free heating equates to an average usage of both space heating and hot water.
3.3 A weekend of free heating is calculated at £4.48. You will be credited £19.41 for the first 11 months and £19.45 for the final month based on 52 weekends in a year.
3.4 The credit amount is fixed and not based on your actual usage. Actual heating costs may vary based on your property size, insulation, and individual usage patterns. The credit amount is fixed and may not cover 100% of your specific weekend usage.
3.5 The credit value is fixed as outlined above and will not change in line with any changes to the Energy Price Cap or your specific energy tariff.
4. How Weekend Warmer is Applied to your bills
4.1 This will be applied to your energy bill as a bill credit once a month for 12 months.
4.2 There is no cash alternative. If you pay by Direct Debit, the Direct Debit amount you pay per month won’t change. The energy credit will show as a separate line item on your bill. Credits cannot be transferred as a cash refund or transferred or gifted to another account holder.
4.3 If your account has a negative balance, any credit paid will be used to pay off any outstanding money owed.
4.4 If you leave us before your credit is paid you will not receive your credit.
5. Changes to the Offer or these Terms
5.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms with reasonable notice.
5.2 We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Offer at any time. We will provide you with reasonable notice prior to any detrimental change to the Offer.
6. Ending your participation in the offer
If you don’t comply with these Terms
6.1 By participating in this Offer you agree to comply with these Terms.
6.2 We will monitor compliance with these Terms. In the event of fraud, abuse, misuse, or not keeping to these Terms, we can cancel, withdraw or reclaim any payments made to you under the Offer and, end or suspend the Offer or stop you from participating in it.
If you want to leave the offer
6.3 If you no longer wish to participate in the Offer you can opt out by emailing [email protected]. You’ll need to provide us with your name and account number for your OVO account. Your request may take up to 30 days to be processed.
If you switch away
6.4 You’re free to switch to another energy supplier at any time (unless you owe us money, in which case we may stop your switch until the money is paid). If you switch to another energy supplier at any point during the Offer period, you won’t be eligible to claim the remainder of the Offer.
If you move house
6.5 If you move house at any point during the Offer period, you won’t be eligible to claim the remainder of the Offer.
7. General
These Terms are governed by English law and any claims can be brought in the English courts. However, if you live in Wales or Scotland you (and we) can instead bring any claims in the courts of the country you live in.
